Poynton in Business - closes December 2018 but database is currently still available

Poynton has everything you'd expect to find in much larger towns. Restaurants, bars, take-aways and coffee shops serving food from around the globe as well as home-made produce. You'll discover a wide range of small independent, services, specialist shops and traders alongside high street names but almost hidden from view there are also a large number of professional and business services thriving in offices and homes in the village.

Poynton Town Council took the initiative to create the local business group, Poynton In Business, in 2013, however the independent (from the Town Council) group, who took over the running of PIB, announced in December 2018 that the organisation, which has been very successful in connecting local businesses, was to be discontinued.
